昨今、世界各地で数多くリリースされている"某"蒸留所のヤングヴィンテージカスク。

その中からBEHIND THE CASKが選んだのは、2015ヴィンテージ・11年熟成の一樽です。

力強いスモークを軸としながら、その奥にはパッションフルーツを思わせるトロピカルなニュアンスが顔を覗かせます。若さゆえの躍動感と、複雑な果実味が共存する、印象的な一本に仕上がりました。

ボトリングにあたっては、カスクストレングス58.2%から、BEHIND THE CASKが「ホットスポット」と位置づける50.6%まで加水。アルコールの角をやわらげることで、スモーク、果実、甘み、それぞれの個性がより調和し、奥行きのある味わいを引き出しています。

本ボトルは、たまにわ酒店（愛知県）とBEHIND THE CASK（函館）でのみ販売されます。当方でご購入の場合はTAMANIWA CELLARSの印はありません。
